Village is a settlement on the island of Krk in Croatia. They are located in the western part of the island called Sotovento, about 9 km northwest of the town of Krk and administratively belonging to the town of Krk. Not a coastal village, but a couple of hundred feet above the bay of St. Fuska and Torkul. Nearest neighboring village is Skrpcici. Area of the village is to the nearby LINARDIĆI through history and even today is called Kambun, and the name derives from the ancient Roman dialect Krk Veclisun or Veljoto.
Name Kambun and even some of the names of the site indicate that the area has been inhabited since the early Middle Ages. After the Croats on the island in the 7th century, the western part of the island remains mostly romance, but apart from the town of Krk, sparsely populated. However, with time and Croats settled this part of the island.
The first Venetian governor on the island, Antonio Vinciguerra in 1489. The village is mentioned among other "Panic", and since this country has never existed in this part of the island, it is believed that he meant the village is.
