Today’s Bizovac developed on the site where the Pannonia Sea once used to be. Nowadays, this pretty Slavonian village is most famous for the Bizovac Spa, with healing thermal salt water spas (with indoor and outdoor pools), as well as for the underground curia manor and a series of agricultural buildings owned by Count Prandau Normann of Ehrenfels, which were built in the first half of the 19th century. The historical ground floor castle is U shaped and has enchanting windows that are decorated with ornamental wooden frames.
Bizovac is famous for its Bizovac folk costumes and rich folklore heritage, excellent cooking, and in particular for cakes and the hospitality of hosts.
