Šilo is the largest village in the municipality of Dobrinj and has the longest tradition of tourism. Šilo’s greatest assets for tourism are its many beautiful, sunny and naturally preserved pebble beaches and coves, including a famous pebble beach ideal for children.
The sunken ship Peltastis is nearby and is a particularly interesting shipwreck for divers.The bay of Solina with the villages of Klimon, Solina and Čižići makes up the significant tourist offer of the municipality of Dobrinj. The warm shallow sea and healing mud in the protected cove means that it is possible to go swimming between May and the autumn, and the exotic beaches and hidden coves are attractive for sailors as well as families with children.
Klimno is a small quiet romantic village famous for its varied gastronomic offer and restaurants in which many sea and other specialties, as well as unmissable local wine are on offer. Moorings in the sea and on dry land are also available.The village of Soline, which used to be famous for its pre-Roman salt pans, has in more recent times become famous for its healing mud, which helps to resolve bone aches, and for the wide range of private accommodation it offers.
Čižići is affirming itself as a village attractive for both a break and a summer holiday, and accommodation is available in an increasing number of private apartments.
Island Krk
The golden or green Krk is an island and yet it is not one. Its idyllic nature and quiet far from the daily routine make it an island, but considering the transport connection, it practically is not one.
